Some augments have levels; gaining a level increases their potency and/or grants extra effects. Higher-level augments can appear in a random selection or be gained by upgrading them with the Augment Level item.1
- Augments have one to three levels, depending on the augment. Some gain a Keystone effect at maximum level, granting an additional effect.2
- Once you have two levelable augments, an augment level is offered in place of one of the offered augments.2
- After reaching the maximum number of augments, offers are limited to augment levels or the option to tier up an existing augment, removing it and selecting another one tier higher. If all augments are at maximum level, the choices are to tier up an existing augment or gain a stat anvil.2
