Tips

Interactions

  • Shadowflame applies critical strikes to Orbital Laser's true and magic damage against enemies below 40% health.4

Bugs

  • Replacing Orbital Laser with a higher-tier augment can remove the augment without offering a replacement selection.5

History

Orbital Laser targets a location and fires after 2.5 seconds, dealing true damage equal to 30% of the target's maximum health, then 45–120 magic damage based on level every 0.5 seconds for 3 seconds to enemies within a 550 radius, up to 270–720 total damage based on level.67 Patch unknown

  • By default, a champion can receive only one augment that replaces Flee with another summoner spell.8 Patch unknown

Earlier formats

  • Orbital Laser's visual effects could no longer be hidden in terrain in patch 25.23.9 8x2 duos
  • Orbital Laser's damage over time no longer got cut in half in patch 14.17.10 8x2 duos
  • The double flash/ghost augment could also double Orbital Laser.11 8x2 duos
  • Orbital Laser scaled almost identically to Fiora's Q.12 8x2 duos
  • Activating Orbital Laser immediately after Time Out, which also had a 2.5-second delay, guaranteed a hit if done correctly.13 8x2 duos
  • Orbital Laser counted as a summoner spell rather than an item, and Ionian did not seem to apply to it.14 8x2 duos
  • Orbital Laser's cooldown remained at 20 seconds when paired with Apex Inventor.15 8x2 duos
