Overview

Casting your ultimate ability grants you an aura for 2 seconds, growing in size over the duration to up to size. After the duration, you taunt all enemies within the aura and gain 50% damage reduction for the same duration (30 seconds cooldown). Additionally, gain ability haste. Aura is activated once the ultimate's effect starts or has elapsed.²

Interactions

The aura activates when the ultimate's effect starts or has elapsed. On Katarina, it activates at the start of Death Lotus's channel.⁵⁶ Patch unknown
With some ultimates that have a prolonged effect, the aura may wait until the ultimate ends; Aatrox's ultimate form ending before the effect starts is one example.⁷
The taunt may begin after an ultimate finishes rather than during its channel; this can happen with Nunu's ultimate.⁸
Jayce triggers the augment only in melee form; its cooldown is about 20 seconds.⁹

Bugs

The augment sometimes does not work.¹⁰
On Wukong, the augment fails to trigger on the first ultimate cast and sometimes triggers on the second.¹¹
