Effects

• Spellblade (unique): After using an ability, your next basic attack within 10 seconds gains 50% bonus attack speed and deals 75% base AD (+ 45% AP) bonus magic damage on-hit (1.5 second cooldown, starts after using the empowered attack).³

Arena changes

• Ability haste changed to 20.
• Ability power changed to 80.
• Movement speed changed to 10%.
• Spellblade AP ratio changed to 66% AP.⁴

Attack Speed Increase Ability Power Ratio changed to 70% in patch 26.15 (was 66%)⁵

• Lich Bane and Nashor's Tooth were both used for an Ethereal Weapon Zyra build.⁶
• Lich Bane is recommended with Purist Caster for its damage and attack speed; Ethereal Weapon can add to the build.⁷

Patch 26.15 changed the Attack Speed Increase Ability Power Ratio from 66% to 70%; the Arena data lists a 66% AP ratio for Spellblade, and it is unclear whether these refer to the same effect.⁴⁵

• With Ethereal Weapon, Lich Bane can apply on each ability that deals damage somewhat often; Mystic Punch alongside Ethereal Weapon can lead to repeated procs.⁸

• After mutating into Apex Inventor, Lich Bane's cooldown can become extremely long. Selling or refunding the item does not fix it, and it may not work again that game.⁹

• Lich Bane was part of a high-AP Fizz build alongside Shadowflame and penetration.¹⁰ 8x2 duos
