Effects

• Watch Them Fall (unique): Immobilize or ground an enemy champion summons a comet above them that lands at their current location after 1 second, dealing 50 to 150 (+ 40% AP) (+ 4% of your maximum health) magic damage to enemies within the area (6 second cooldown per target per cast instance).³

Cruelty works with Reverberation and Mercy in a crowd-control-focused build.⁵

• Cruelty is recommended for a crowd-control-heavy tank such as Alistar or Rell.⁶
• Cruelty is recommended alongside Reverberation for tanks using repeated crowd control.⁷
• Cruelty and Rylai’s Crystal Scepter are recommended for Seraphine, so her E can root and trigger Cruelty twice.⁸⁹

With Mystic Punch and Ethereal Weapon, repeated hits on multiple enemies can reduce Alistar’s Q cooldown enough to reset it. This allows Q casts to trigger Cruelty repeatedly, and Jeweled Gauntlet can make the hits critical.¹⁰

Seraphine’s E can trigger Cruelty when it roots an enemy; an empowered E that roots and stuns can trigger it twice.⁹

Singed’s E counts as a root and can trigger Cruelty.¹¹
