Wisdom of Ages: LoL Arena Augment

Wisdom of Ages is a prismatic augment in League of Legends Arena.

Overview

Grants 1 level upon selecting this augment and 1 additional level at the start of every other round. Additionally, the level cap for your champion is removed, allowing them to benefit from effects that scale past level 18, including stat growth. If this augment is picked after Round 4, gain 3 levels upon selecting the augment instead of 1.²

Tips

An early Wisdom of Ages is recommended with Darius or Jhin because their passives scale with levels.³

Interactions

Wisdom of Ages can increase Tristana's attack range and the ranges of her E and R through her passive.⁴
With Zilean, Wisdom of Ages can unlock the level cap for teammates who do not have the augment.⁵⁶
Champions gain levels each round, and Wisdom of Ages can alter that level progression.⁷ Patch unknown

Bugs

Wisdom of Ages does not work when boots are changed, though it works with other items.⁸
After Wisdom of Ages is upgraded to level 3, a champion can remain at level 18 for the rest of the game.⁹
Upgrading Wisdom of Ages three times can reapply the level cap, reducing a champion from level 32 to level 18.¹⁰
Wisdom of Ages can stop scaling a champion at level 18.¹¹

History

The missing bonus levels occurred only when the augment was replaced after completion; that case worked as intended.¹²
