Effects

• Energized (unique): Moving and basic attacking generates Energize stacks, up to 100.
• Helix (unique): Dealing damage with an ability generates 30 Energize stacks and triggers the effects of Energized attacks if they are ready (2.5-second cooldown per cast instance).
• Spiral Out (unique): When fully Energized, your next basic attack generates a Rune stack and fires a missile at the target for each Rune stack you have, dealing 20 to 45 (+ 11% bonus AD) (+ 8% AP) (+ 0.3 per 100 bonus health) magic damage with each missile. Stacks are reset every round and between each phase in a round.³

• Wild Fire, Quantum Computing, and And My Axe work well together; And My Axe counts as a spell for Runecarver.⁵
• Energetic is a must for an Energetic build with Runecarver; Fulmination is a substitute for faster Energized stacks when Energetic is unavailable.⁶
• Runecarver is one of Hecarim's strong item options, alongside Moonflair, Rite of Ruin, and Rod of Ages.⁷
• A Runecarver autocast build needs Hexbolt Companion and a damaging autocast augment that triggers Runecarver, such as Slime Time, Firefox, And My Axe, or Wildfire. Energetic increases the efficiency of gaining Energized stacks.⁸
• For an autocast build, pair Runecarver with Hexbolt Companion, damaging autocast augments such as Wild Fire and Firefox, and Energetic; Quantum Computing at rank 3 can replace one of the autocast augments.⁹
