Shyvana has many build paths and options, so she does not need to rely as much on getting particular items or augments.³

Shyvana benefits from multiple scalings and stat-focused builds.⁴⁵

• Moonflair works well with Shyvana.⁶
• Shyvana can build a wide range of options, including AP, AD, attack speed, on-hit, bruiser, burn, mana, hybrid and tank builds.⁷⁸
• With Darksteel Talon, build Blade of the Ruined King for early wins, then Thornmail for its healing reduction and armor synergy. Look for Shield of the Molten Stone or Deathfire Grasp as a prismatic item, then choose items that work with the one you get.⁹
• Crit Shyvana can be hard to deal with when opponents do not buy Serpent's Fang to reduce her survivability.¹⁰
• Shyvana scales well with every stat in the game.¹¹

• Shyvana can take a plant with one auto reset; her auto reset on-hit can count as two hits against a plant.¹²¹³
• Shyvana can destroy the middle plant very easily.¹⁴
• Shyvana has one dash, on her ultimate.¹⁵

Shyvana can have nearly 100% uptime in Dragon Form while fights continue.¹⁶

Shyvana’s Q gains a third cast in Dragon Form, which deals true damage.¹⁷

• Big Dragon Energy starts combat with full Dragon Fury, stops Dragon Fury from decaying in Dragon Form, and makes Dragon Form Emberstrike’s final strike deal 150% true damage. The augment is exclusive to Shyvana.¹⁸ Patch unknown

Shyvana's Q3 does not benefit from Jeweled Gauntlet.¹⁹

• Typhoon's range is bugged, so it only works near enemies; it is very strong on melee champions with on-hit effects, including Shyvana.²⁰

• Since patch 26.11, Sylas no longer respawns as Shyvana in Dragon Form when he dies while polymorphed.²¹

• Since patch 25.07, Shyvana’s burns no longer count as burns for Infernal Conduit.²⁴ 8x2 duos
• Since patch 25.06, Shyvana gains stacks of her passive.²⁵ 8x2 duos
• Twilight's Edge worked well with Shyvana, and Curse stacked easily. The Prismatic hit with abilities seemed to give two stacks each time she attacked because of Q.²⁶ 8x2 duos

• When Sylas takes Shyvana's ultimate with Unshackled and remains in Dragon Form when the round ends, he cannot use the ultimate in the next round because he cannot gain Fury.³² 8x2 duos
